About Us
History
Our story starts way back to early 2015.
Youth, Unleash and Empower (YUE) is a Cameroon-based non-profit organization founded and registered in Yaoundé, Cameroon, with Association Number 00001259/ARDA/JO6/A2/ALPAS/APPB.
We have offices in Yaounde (Centre Region), Douala(Littoral Region), Buea (South West Region) and Bamenda (North West Region) respectively.
The ideals of YUE came to fruition in 2015 when our founding members took up advocacy actions to challenge the use of young girls and women as suicide bombers by Boko Haram in the North of Cameroon in 2015. If the ideals were true in those days, they are even truer today, for we remain more committed for than ever to inspire young people to take actions to make their community a better one.
We are building a community of young people who are passionate about sustainable community development by fostering peace, team work and equality. They come together to build and nurture professional relationships, create supportive networks with the aim to develop their communities and grow personally and professionally through quality education.
